Lion King JR

Thank you to all our family and community members for making our performance of the Lion King Jr a wonderful event. Thank you to parents for supporting your children to be a part of this special time. The nights were filled with amazing performances, scenes that made us laugh and moments where we held back the tears! As a community, we are really grateful for your support of the students!
We also want to acknowledge the massive team of dedicated and brilliant staff who also made the performances possible. We are blessed to have creative and clever staff who have gone above and beyond to construct, sew, design, paint, sing, choreograph, coach and organise! In our classrooms too, our teachers have worked throughout the year to help students learn lines, songs and dances. The whole team at CCS has worked together to support our students and to help them thrive.
And we, as a team, hope and pray that with every opportunity for the students throughout this musical, that with every splash of colour, energy and talent, that we honour our good, creative and awesome God.
Mrs Carolyn Coulter
Head of Primary

The Maths show is a live stage performance like no other. The show is full of mathematical magic, history and puzzles designed to entertain and engage students while substantially increasing their interest in mathematics.

The Maths show will be visiting CCS on the 18 November, performing separate shows for years 5/6 and 7.

Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart kicks off this term at Casino Christian School!

Jump Rope for Heart is the Heart Foundation’s primary school skipping challenge that helps kids move more, have fun, and raise funds for life-saving research and programs.

This year we’ve got an audacious goal to see our student Heart Heroes at CCS to log 40 hours of skipping throughout the program!

Register your child online, so they can receive the full benefits of the program and participate in online fundraising, simply follow the link below to get started. www.jumprope.org.au/parents

Students will be skipping throughout the term in PE lessons during lunch and recess break, and during class breaks. Throughout this time you can share their online fundraising page with family and friends to help raise money for this great cause.

We will hold our school Jump Off Day on November 29. This will mark the end of the program and is a chance for everyone to come together to skip and show off their newly learned skills.

Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program!

Paint Ball Excursion – PASS & Senior Students Year 9 to Year 11

    Friday 22 nd November, 2024 (9.00am to 2.45pm)

On Friday 22 nd November, 2024 the PASS Class will be travelling to Ballina to experience Paintball. The aim of this activity is for students to participate in a number of high energy games that cannot normally be
experienced in regular school hours. Mr McPherson, Mr Boland and Mrs Bryant will be participating and supervising the students for this excursion.
Even though this is a PASS & Senior Students elective excursion, students from Year 9 and Year 10 have been invited to attend because we have space for up to 35 students. This means that the first 35 students to return their
note and payment will be able to attend this excursion.

To participate in this excursion you must complete the permission note and return it TO THE OFFICE with your money ($95) by Friday 15th November, 2024. The Presbyterian Church requires the attached ‘risk warning’ form to be signed for any activity out of the ordinary. It is a standard form that would be used for anything from sky diving to horse riding and has not been written particularly for paintball.
